In traditional ‘Antigua’ style, all rooms open to a covered interior terrace and beautiful central courtyard which features a fountain & covered outdoor living room area. Mario’s Project is a grassroots nonprofit created by two friends in Antigua Guatemala in response to Guatemala's Covid crisis. The project delivers bags of survival food to families in need and provides Sunday supper to Antigua's indigent.
When you request a swap in the Serene Colonial Charm, you can spend a day contributing to Mario’s Charity.
Serene Colonial Charm is the home of Janet, a retired Delta Flight Attendant that decided to move to Antigua, Guatemala 8 years ago. She runs Marios Project Feeding Guatemalans and she will coordinate a day of helping out in the charity.

*If a swap can’t be arranged, Janet also rents one room for $40/pp/night or, if two people are sharing a room, it’s $50 for both.
